Larkmead Farm Vets offers bespoke services to our Large Animal clients.

From our offices in Cholsey, we offer a complete mobile veterinary service for farm animals including beef & dairy cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, camelids, and game birds.

Our farm services include 24-hour emergency cover by our own team of farm vets, dynamic herd planning, A.I. services, and TB Advisory Service Visits. You can also order farm medication online to collect from our Cholsey, Didcot, or Wantage branches, RG20 (see info below) or our vets can deliver it at their next visit – order farm medicines.

We offer a meds pick-up service from a secure location in RG20.  Pick-up days are Wednesdays and Fridays. Please order ahead wherever possible, the cut-off for same day orders is 0900. Once the meds are available, you will be sent a notification with pick-up instructions.  To order meds, please phone the office, WhatsApp us, email or complete the online form.

We have an on-site laboratory at our Cholsey office that enables us to offer an extensive range of testing services including haematology, biochemistry, bacteriology, cytology, urine analysis, faecal analysis and parasitology.

We also offer regular meetings for pig, dairy, cattle, sheep and camelid clients, as well as specialist groups with key member benefits:
