Equine vet care with a difference

Larkmead Equine Vets is an independent practice providing outstanding veterinary care and a 24-hour emergency service, 365 days a year.

You can count on our equine vets to provide a high-quality tailored service to suit your needs. We provide 24/7 care for all types of horses, from competition animals to much loved ponies and everything in between.

Based in Cholsey, we cover South Oxfordshire and offer our independent veterinary services at your stables or field. Our equine team is headed up by Julia James, who has extensive knowledge of equine veterinary care and is an experienced horsewoman. Julia and the rest of our equine team are here to support you and your horse.

Please note that on the 21st of May our phone lines may not work – our temporary number is 01235 633822 and can be used as an alternative.
