Chloe Armstrong BVetMed MRCVS

My name is Chloe, and I joined Team Larkmead in February 2025 after spending some time with them as a Locum. I originally studied Zoology at the University of Sheffield, before deciding to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine and graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2021. I then worked in a busy first opinion practice in Oxfordshire before completing a rotating Internship at a Referral Centre. I am particularly interested in ophthalmology and anaesthesia.

Outside of work I enjoy being outdoors running and hiking, as well as reading and baking.

Zoe Nicholson BVM&S MRCVS

Hello, I am Zoe – I joined Larkmead Vets in August 2024 after graduating from the University of Edinburgh in July. I enjoy my role and am especially interested in cardiology and hope to pursue a certificate in the future.

As well as dogs and cats, I also love small critters and currently have a mischief of 4 rats whose antics keep me busy! I also love reading and playing the piano.

Rose Brooker BVMSci MRCVS

Hi, I’m Rose, I graduated from the University of Surrey in 2024 and joined Larkmead shortly afterwards. I enjoy both medicine and surgery and love the variety of general practice. I discovered Larkmead whilst on placement in my final year of vet school and knew very quickly that I wanted to work here.

In my spare time I like to go for runs and crochet new projects – including little hats for my newly adopted kitten, Stephen – who I began fostering on my first day as a vet and now lives with me permanently.

Wiktoria Raczy BVMSci MRCVS

Hi, my name is Wiki, and I joined Team Larkmead in 2024 after graduating from the University of Surrey. I was born in Poland and moved to the UK when I was 6, hence the unusual spelling of my name (pronounced Viki)!

In my spare time, I love going to Pilates classes, starting new crotchet projects, visiting home and seeing my wonderful Cocker Spaniel called Miley! I recently adopted a gorgeous kitten called Betty.

Lucy Brown BVSc MRCVS

Hi, I’m Lucy! I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2024 and joined Larkmead later that year. From a young age, I was passionate about becoming a vet, drawn to the diversity and challenges of the profession. My primary interest lies in soft tissue surgery but I am keen to expand my knowledge and skills, whilst getting to know owners and their wonderful pets.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and in particular love going to the gym and running. I also love spending quality time with my 3 pets: a cocker spaniel, a collie, and a guinea pig.

Hannah Berry BVM&S MRCVS

Hello, I’m Hannah – I joined Larkmead in August 2024 after graduating from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at Edinburgh University in July.

I originally did some work experience with Larkmead at 16 and then completed placements with them through university. I love the supportive nature of the team and feel it is the right place to start my veterinary career.

In my spare time, I love looking after my Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever puppy named Chips and taking him on plenty of walks, partaking in marathons and playing polo.

Roma Hansford BVMSci MRCVS

After graduating from the University of Surrey in June 2023. I am very happy to have joined the Larkmead team, after being here as a student. I am thoroughly enjoying both the medicine and surgery aspects of my role.

Having grown up in Hertfordshire with my family, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and a 25+ year old Cockatiel, I am now enjoying living in South Oxfordshire, with my own newly adopted lurcher, Dave.

In my spare time, I play netball regularly and enjoy being outside, with plenty of dog walking.  I also love visiting new cities abroad, as much as possible!

Alice Ruel BVSc PgC(SAO) MRCVS

My name is Alice, I live in Oxfordshire with my husband, two children, two dogs and our 50-year-old Tortoise.  I have been a Vet for 20 years and love all aspects of first opinion veterinary work, particularly Ophthalmology.

My passion for Ophthalmology originated from working alongside a specialist in Devon and from caring for my own dog who suffered from primary closed angle glaucoma. I have a post graduate certification in small animal ophthalmology and am an RCVS advanced practitioner. My ambition has always been to preserve any animal’s vision and maintain ocular comfort and, if possible, encourage an interest in eyes amongst my colleagues! In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, walking my dogs and playing tennis.
