My name is Max Wood, and I am a Partner and a Large Animal Vet. I graduated from the University of Nottingham, School of Veterinary Medicine and Science in 2012, and joined Larkmead in 2015. My main passionate is pig production, health, and welfare.

What makes this job so special is that there are no two days the same in our profession, the variation is my favourite part of the job!

Outside of work, I am a former rugby player and now compete in triathlons and have my dog Nessie who helps me with the cows at home.
